TacticalPay LLC ("TacticalPay," "we," "our," or "us") operates tacticalpay.com and the TacticalPay POS platform at pos.tacticalpay.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information in connection with those products and services. By using our products or services, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide — including your name, business name, email address, phone number, store information, business address, FFL license information, payment method, and any other information you submit through our website, application forms, or the TacticalPay POS platform.
Information generated through your use of our products — including transaction records, account activity, platform usage data, and any data entered into or accessible through the TacticalPay POS platform, including bound book records and ATF form data.
Information collected automatically — including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other log and analytics data collected when you visit our website or use our platform.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect for any legitimate business purpose, including but not limited to:
- Providing, operating, maintaining, and improving our products and services
- Processing transactions and managing your account
- Sending transactional communications including receipts, billing notices, and account updates
- Sending marketing, promotional, and informational communications about TacticalPay products and services
- Sending SMS communications related to your account or our services

Communications
By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications from TacticalPay including transactional emails, marketing emails, and SMS messages. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contacting us at support@tacticalpay.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional or account-related communications.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website and platform use cookies, tracking technologies, and third-party analytics tools including Google Analytics to collect and analyze usage data. This information helps us understand how our products are used and how to improve them. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect platform functionality. We also use cookies to record how you reached us, such as the advertising campaign or referral link you arrived through, so that the right source is credited. These do not contain personal information and expire within 180 days.
How We Share Your Information
The categories below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which we never share as described in Text messaging (SMS).
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Service providers and partners — We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, partners, and contractors who assist us in operating our business. This includes our CRM, analytics, email, SMS, billing, and infrastructure providers. We may share information with these parties as we deem necessary to operate and grow our business.
Karls Technology — The TacticalPay POS platform is developed and maintained by Karls Technology. We may share data with Karls Technology in connection with operating, maintaining, and improving the platform.
Business purposes — We may use and share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from platform usage for analytics, benchmarking, product development, marketing, and other business purposes without restriction.
Legal and regulatory — We may disclose your information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Effective October 1, 2026, TacticalPay LLC became the operator of tacticalpay.com and the TacticalPay POS platform and is responsible for information collected under this policy, including information collected before that date.
SMS No-Share Policy - No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
At our discretion — We reserve the right to share your information with third parties for purposes consistent with our business operations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Text messaging (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf (such as our SMS platform and carriers), and only as needed to provide that service.

Data Storage
Your TacticalPay POS platform data is hosted and managed by Karls Technology. TacticalPay may access this data in connection with providing and supporting your subscription. Information collected through our website and marketing activities is stored and managed by TacticalPay and our third-party service providers.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect the information we collect and store. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for unauthorized access that occurs despite our efforts.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Following cancellation or termination of your TacticalPay POS subscription, platform data is retained by Karls Technology for approximately 90 days before it may be permanently deleted, subject to change. You are responsible for exporting any records you need before your account closes.
Your Rights
You may contact us at support@tacticalpay.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We reserve the right to retain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes even following a deletion request.
Third-Party Links
Our website and platform may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Payment Processing
Payment processing services are governed by a separate merchant services agreement. Data collected in connection with payment processing is subject to the terms of that agreement and the privacy policies of the applicable payment processors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of TacticalPay products after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The current version is always available at /privacy.
