TacticalPay POS Hardware Policy
This policy is issued by Soar Payments LLC, doing business as TacticalPay (“TacticalPay,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Returns — POS Hardware
We offer a 30-day return on all unopened Volcora POS hardware in its original sealed packaging. Opened hardware is not eligible for return unless the item arrives defective — see Warranty — POS Hardware below.
To start a return, email pos@tacticalpay.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll send a return label and next steps. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
This return policy is offered voluntarily as a courtesy and does not create any legal obligation beyond applicable law. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue it at any time.
Returns — Payment Terminals
Payment terminals are programmed specifically for your merchant account. Once activated, they are not eligible for return except in the case of a confirmed manufacturer defect — see Warranty — Payment Terminals below.
Warranty — POS Hardware
TacticalPay POS hardware is manufactured by Volcora and carries Volcora’s limited lifetime warranty. Volcora is the ultimate responsible party for manufacturing defects. Full warranty terms are available at volcora.com.
As a courtesy, TacticalPay voluntarily facilitates warranty claims for the duration of your active subscription. If your hardware has a defect, email pos@tacticalpay.com within 30 days of discovering the issue with your order number, serial number, and photos or video of the problem. Our team may request basic troubleshooting before issuing a resolution. If a defect is confirmed, we’ll coordinate with Volcora and provide a prepaid return label. The defective unit must be returned within 30 days or the replacement cost will be charged to your payment method on file.
Shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Not covered: accidental damage, drops, liquid damage, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, or hardware resold or transferred from the original purchaser.
This warranty facilitation is offered voluntarily and does not create any legal obligation beyond Volcora’s manufacturer warranty. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue it at any time.
Warranty — Payment Terminals
Payment terminals are covered by Dejavoo’s 12-month manufacturer warranty. This warranty runs from TacticalPay’s date of purchase from Dejavoo — not from the date you receive your terminal. Remaining warranty coverage on your specific unit is available upon request.
While your merchant account is active and in good standing with no unresolved ACH rejects, we’ll make reasonable efforts to facilitate a warranty claim with Dejavoo on your behalf. If Dejavoo’s warranty has expired or your account is not in good standing, we’ll still try to assist but cannot guarantee coverage or resolution.
Shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Not covered: accidental damage, drops, liquid damage, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, or terminals transferred from the original merchant account.
Hardware Purchase
Hardware and software are billed separately. Your hardware is yours to keep — but hardware purchases are not refundable due to a subscription change or cancellation. Warranty facilitation ends when your subscription or merchant account is cancelled.
Payment processing services are provided under a separate merchant services agreement and are not governed by this policy.
Shipping
We ship using a carrier of our choosing. We are not liable for delays, losses, or damages that occur after the order has been handed to the carrier. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
Third-Party Hardware
POS hardware is manufactured by Volcora. Payment terminals are manufactured by Dejavoo. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay makes no representations or warranties beyond what is expressly stated in this policy, and expressly disclaims any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Any support we provide is offered voluntarily and at our sole discretion. Volcora and Dejavoo are solely responsible for the design, manufacture, and quality of their respective products.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TacticalPay, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys’ fees — arising from your use of TacticalPay hardware, your violation of this policy, or your failure to comply with applicable law, including any federal or state firearms regulations. TacticalPay’s involvement in hardware defect resolution is limited to voluntary facilitation of the applicable manufacturer warranty as described above.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay’s total liability for any claim arising out of your hardware purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the hardware giving rise to the claim. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if TacticalPay has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in this policy, TacticalPay makes no warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Your sole remedy for defective hardware is the applicable manufacturer warranty, facilitated by TacticalPay as described above.
Dispute Resolution
Have a concern? Reach out at pos@tacticalpay.com — we’ll work to make it right.
If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, both parties agree to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules. Arbitration will take place in Harris County, Texas. Either party may bring eligible claims in small claims court. You waive the right to participate in any class action or class-wide arbitration.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of this policy is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
Entire Agreement
This policy, together with your TacticalPay Software Policy and any signed merchant services agreement, constitutes the entire agreement between you and TacticalPay regarding hardware. No verbal or written representations outside these documents are binding.
Force Majeure
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, carrier delays, or acts of government.
Acceptance
By completing your hardware purchase at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Disputes arising before a change will be governed by the terms in place at that time. Continued use of TacticalPay POS hardware constitutes acceptance of any updates. The current version of this policy is always available at https://www.tacticalpay.com/policies#hardware-policy.

This policy is issued by Soar Payments LLC, doing business as TacticalPay (“TacticalPay,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Overview
TacticalPay POS is a software-as-a-service platform provided by TacticalPay and powered by Karls Technology, an independent third-party software developer. This policy governs your TacticalPay POS software subscription only. Payment processing services are provided under a separate merchant services agreement. By subscribing, you agree to this policy and any additional terms referenced herein.
Billing
Your subscription is billed monthly in advance by TacticalPay. There are no setup fees or annual commitments. Your first payment is due at the time of purchase and renews automatically each month until canceled.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at pos@tacticalpay.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Access to the platform is conditioned on your account being active and in good standing. Access after cancellation or termination is not guaranteed. You are responsible for exporting your data prior to account closure. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.
Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not offer free trials, prorated refunds, or credits for downtime or unused service periods.
Termination by TacticalPay
TacticalPay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to: risk management, financial losses, legal or regulatory requirements, or the requirements of our banking or payment processing partners. If we terminate your account for reasons other than your violation of this policy, we will issue a prorated refund for any unused days in your current billing period.
Your Data
Your transaction and account data is stored and managed solely by Karls Technology. TacticalPay does not store or manage your data directly, but may access it through the platform in connection with providing and supporting your subscription.
Following cancellation or termination, your data will be retained by Karls Technology for 90 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. This retention period reflects Karls Technology’s current policy and is subject to change. You are responsible for exporting any records you wish to retain before your account is closed.
We may collect, use, and share aggregated, anonymized usage data with third parties for analytics, product development, and other business purposes. This data does not identify you or your customers individually.
Data Breach
Your data is stored and managed by Karls Technology. In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access, Karls Technology is the responsible party for breach notification and remediation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any data breach, unauthorized access, or data loss originating from Karls Technology’s infrastructure. For breach-related concerns, contact Karls Technology directly.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at pos@tacticalpay.com if you suspect unauthorized access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use TacticalPay POS only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You may not use the platform to facilitate illegal firearms transactions, straw purchases, or any activity that violates ATF regulations or any other applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately at our sole discretion upon becoming aware of any prohibited use.
Merchant Representations
By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you hold a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) issued by the ATF and will maintain it for the duration of your subscription. Notify us immediately at pos@tacticalpay.com if your FFL is revoked, suspended, lapses, or is otherwise no longer in good standing. We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately at our sole discretion upon notice or discovery that your FFL is no longer valid.
No Assignment
Your subscription is personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned, or sublicensed to any third party — including in connection with the sale, transfer, or change of ownership of your business — without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment without consent is void. TacticalPay may assign this agreement at any time without notice.
Compliance
TacticalPay POS is designed to support FFL dealers in managing point-of-sale transactions, bound book records, and ATF form generation. However, TacticalPay makes no representations or warranties that use of the platform will result in compliance with any federal, state, or local law or regulation, including ATF requirements. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws and regulations governing your firearms business. We recommend consulting your ATF Industry Operations Inspector or qualified compliance counsel with any compliance questions.
Uptime & Service Availability
We make no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access to the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any losses, damages, or compliance failures resulting from downtime, outages, or service interruptions.
Pricing & Feature Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time with 30 days notice via email to the address on file. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time without notice. If you do not agree to the updated pricing, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription prior to the change taking effect. Continued use of the platform following a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You are responsible for maintaining a current and accurate email address on your account. If a notice is sent to the address on file and is undelivered or unseen due to an outdated or incorrect address, that does not invalidate the notice.
Discontinuation
We reserve the right to discontinue TacticalPay POS at any time. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide reasonable advance notice and issue a prorated refund for any unused days in your current billing period.
Third-Party Software
TacticalPay POS is built on software developed and maintained by Karls Technology. While TacticalPay is your primary point of contact, certain platform functionality, data storage, and infrastructure are the responsibility of Karls Technology. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any failures, errors, data loss, or service interruptions caused by or attributable to Karls Technology or its underlying software. For issues determined to originate with the underlying platform, TacticalPay will work with Karls Technology on your behalf but cannot guarantee resolution timelines or outcomes.
Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by TacticalPay and Karls Technology without restriction, compensation, or attribution. You waive any claim of ownership or rights in any such feedback.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TacticalPay, Karls Technology, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, and employees against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys’ fees — arising from your use of TacticalPay POS, your violation of this policy, your failure to maintain a valid FFL, or your failure to comply with applicable law, including any federal or state firearms regulations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay’s total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TacticalPay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if TacticalPay has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. TacticalPay does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or compliant with any regulatory requirement.
