Defensive Firearms Training with CCW Maggie – Ep. 31

Strap in for a new episode of TacticalPay Radio! This week, we’re talking about learning and practicing self defense with a true expert. Maggie Mordaunt AKA “CCW Maggie” is the Founder/Owner and Lead Instructor for Homeland Personal Protection Firearms Training or HPP Firearms Training. For ten years now her training has been geared towards defensive shooting against potentially lethal threats.

In addition to her work with HPP Firearms Training, Maggie is a Defensive Firearms Coach, an NRA Training Counselor, Certified Instructor, and Chief Range Safety Officer as well as an authorized CCW/CFP Instructor for NV, UT & FL. She is currently on tour as an instructor for the Personal Defense Network Tour. Maggie is “a Wife to a very supportive husband of (10) years, a Mom of (2) beautiful children and is a Woman who understands the importance of self-defense as a fundamental right.”

Firearms Training for Women with Julianna Crowder – Ep. 30

Get ready for yet another TacticalPay Radio episode! This episode is all about women and firearms… but more specifically, firearms training for women. Brett was joined by a true expert on this, Julianna Crowder, who has specialized in helping women develop their firearms skills, including founding A Girl and a Gun (a women’s shooting organization).

For more than a decade, Julianna Crowder has been an instructor for firearms education and women’s self-defense… a journey which began in 2004 as she became interested in firearms. Through hard work, as well as some encouragement from her husband, she has become one of the premier educators on safe and proper handling of firearms, self defense education, and the fun of recreational shooting sports. She’s the founder of “A Girl and a Gun Club”. A club for women and girls that enjoy pistols, rifles, and shotguns for self-defense, recreation, and competition. Thousands of students have attended her course for “License To Carry” in the Great State of Texas. And in 2015, she was selected as a member of the NRA Education And Training Committee.

Personal Security with Sam Rosenberg of INPAX – Ep. 29

Sharing his incredible expertise on these topics is our guest this week, Sam Rosenberg of INPAX, a business which offers extensive self-defense and personal security training.

Sam Rosenberg has trained personal security for over 20 years and has been accumulating extensive knowledge in martial arts (and Division 1 wrestling) since 1984. After earning a commission as a USMC (United States Marine Corps) Lieutenant, he transitioned into the close quarters protection business. Eventually he started his own highly-successful personal security training business, INPAX.

Pistol Shooting with Brian Zins of Point Blank Range – Ep. 28

Get ready for yet another TacticalPay radio episode! This week, we’re talking all about pistol shooting. Joining Brett to share his expertise on this is Brian Zins, who is the Director of Training at Point Blank Range, a shooting range located in North Carolina.

Brian Zins is a retired United States Marine Corps Military Police Gunnery Sergeant, and throughout his military career he earned a number of awards including (6) Marine Corps Good Conduct Medals, (5) Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals, (1) Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal and (1) Meritorious Service Medal (which is for members of our Armed Forces who distinguish themselves with outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the country). He’s also a 12x national champion in pistol shooting competition. You may also recognize him from Season 2 of the History Channel shooting competition show Top Shot.

Bodyguarding and Firearms Courses with Michael J. Briggs of MN Firearms Training – Ep. 27

It’s time for yet another episode of TacticalPay Radio! We’ve got a couple new subjects to cover this week… body guarding and firearms training. Joining Brett to share his expertise and perspectives on these two areas is Michael J. Briggs. Michael is a bodyguard, survivalist instructor, and the owner and head instructor at MN Firearms.

Michael J. Briggs specializes in close quarters protection as well as defensive shooting and firearms tactics. The firearms courses he leads at Minnesota Firearms Training focus on defensive shooting and firearms tactics. He’s also skilled in high country survival, and operated as a survivalist instructor in Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona. Bodyguarding is a fulfilling, but not necessarily easy way to make a living… listen in to hear what Michael has learned from his experiences over the years.

Our guest is Jacob Rieper of GunPoliticsNY, a blog that focuses on the politics affecting the rights of citizens to own, carry and use firearms for all lawful purposes in the state of New York.

Jacob Rieper has been a defender of the 2nd Amendment since he was running Compuserve forums in the mid-1990’s. In addition to his current blogging activities, he has honed his skills in the legislative process from introduction to signing, policy analysis and research, communicating with elected officials on legislative matters, developing political strategy, surveying candidates for public office, political campaign research, grassroots communication, writing press releases, communicating with the media on relevant legislative and political matters. From 2000 to 2016, Jacob was the Legislative Director of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association.

ELR Shooting with Mitch Fitzpatrick of Applied Ballistics – Ep. 25

It’s time for yet another episode of TacticalPay Radio! This week we’re covering an emerging topic in firearms… Extended Long Range (ELR) shooting. Helping Brett cover this, is someone who has won loads of ELR matches and is a true expert. Mitch Fitzpatrick is a college undergraduate, world-class extended long-range shooter, and Co-Owner of the Applied Ballistics Weapons Division, which works on all things related to the science of accuracy.

Mitchell is one of the top F-Class and extended long range shooters in the country. He got started in the shooting industry by getting into F-Class Target Rifle competitive shooting in the spring of 2013. He designed the action and built his rifle from scratch. He’s currently attending Michigan Technological University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Emphasis in Aeronautics.

It’s time for yet another episode of TacticalPay Radio! This week, Brett was joined on the show by Tiffany Johnson, civil rights lawyer, law professor, firearms safety instructor, and prolific blogger at Front Sight Press. Tiffany offered advice to the NRA and other 2nd Amendment supporters on growing their brands and spreading awareness.

Tiffany is a civil rights lawyer, she teaches courses and coordinates the Legal Studies Program at University of Memphis. She’s also an instructor for Citizens Safety Academy, which educates the public on personal safety and responsible firearms ownership. When Tiffany blogs, she often writes about responsible gun ownership and effective gun rights advocacy.
